He is the Representative Director of the Gyeongnam Natural Dyeing Association. He won the Grand Prize (Highest Honor) at the National Natural Dyeing and Traditional Korean Clothing Contest. He received the Gold Prize and Excellence Award at the Grand Prize Traditional Korean Costume Contest of the Republic of Korea. He received the Gold Prize at the Grand Prize Korea Natural Dyeing Cultural Products Exhibition. He served as a Judge for Natural Dyeing at the Samseonghyeon Fine Arts Exhibition and as an Examination Committee Member for the Korea Natural Dyeing Instructor Certification.
