He operates Geumsan Orchid Farm, specializing in the intensive cultivation of Oriental Orchids. In 2018, he was designated a National Garden Master. Currently, he is the Director of the Geuma Garden and Arboretum. He lectures on Korean Wildflower Gardens at the Gyeongsang National University Lifelong Education Institute.
