He was the Korean Representative Chairman for the Peking University Yan Yuan Cup Calligraphy Exhibition. He is a Visiting Professor at Fudan University (Shanghai) and the Sichuan United Arts University. He is the recipient of the Order of Cultural Merit (Jade Crown) and the Grand Prize (Main Award) at the Republic of Korea Artist Awards.
