He won the Gold Medal in the HOT Dish category at the 2008 WTEE World Culinary Competition. He was honored with the Culinary Management Grand Prize at the 2014 Korea Culture and Arts Grand Prize and was selected for the Creative Culture and Arts Food Mart Grand Prize in 2015. He was featured on the MBC program Sympathy: Special World. He is the Representative Director of Dongil Tuna Main Branch.
